The setting is on a place that isn’t on Earth. The time period is around now. The place has white floors and white pillars with people moving among them in white Roman togas. They don’t notice each other because they’re too focused on themselves. Some of them are texting; others are talking on the phone. A few has simply broken down, crying on the floor. While there were others that were asleep, oblivious to it all.
That’s what I saw when I had my dream a few days ago. I couldn’t really understand it, any of it. But, the air smelled a bit like strawberries and I felt warm and safe and that despite the scene that was before me, but maybe I can be… happy? Or maybe the air was drugged and it made me want to believe that, because if so, it was working.
I also remembered looking down at me, a bit surprised to find that I was also wearing what everyone else was wearing, a white roman toga. Funny, I also remembered patting myself down wondering if this was actually real.
It must have been at the time because I felt satisfied that it was. Because, I remembered that I was… relieved for some reason (maybe it was because I was finally away from my mom’s apartment and everyone in it).
And then when I looked up, I saw someone – a guy – looking at me, with an incredulous look on his face. It was as if he couldn’t believe that I was here.
I think I was going to ask who he was, because I certainly have never seen him in my lifetime, but I woke up. And I found myself looking at the ceiling, wondering who he was, and why I couldn’t stay there for a few more minutes to ask.

Never trust anyone who calls themselves Jazz, because they will certainly try to kill you at one point or another. If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, just remember that in my last post I said that my cousin gave me some ice to chew on. And remember how I told you the ice tasted a bit funny? Well it turns out that he may have put in some Nyquil (or was it Dayquil?) in it. Because, I don’t take those types of medicine (it simply tastes too weird for my taste).
But how it made it past me is still something that I don’t understand at all. At least, I’m starting to become a bit better. I don’t feel quite sick as I did before. But, that came at a cost…
You know how there are really vivid dreams that you can’t help but remember even if it has been years since you had it? Well, this seems like the type of dream that’s still going to stick into my memory, even if I’m old, married, and have a million grandbabies (god, I hope that I don’t have that many).
And, well, it starts in a place that isn’t really on Earth. The time setting is now, at least I think it’s now. And everything was white, the floors (which looked like a bunch of pillows sitting next to each other in imperfect rows), and the clothes that the people wear (which reminded me of the Roman togas, for some odd reason). But there weren’t any walls, just tall, giant pillars like the ones that you can see in D.C. I guess, you can say that it’s Mount Olympus. But it wasn’t that exactly…
I don’t know how to really explain the rest, but I can always try another time.
I hope you have a good day.
And the song of the day: Carry On by Fun.

Well, I’m not getting anymore soup, which is good because I was getting pretty sick of it. But the bad news is that I’m still sick. Now Long/Jasper is giving me some green ice. “To chew on,” as he likes to say whenever I ask him about it.
By now, I’ve started to listen to him. But the ice tastes a teensy bit funny…
I’m also glad that my mom is starting to notice that I’m actually sick; because this is the second time she didn’t make me do any chores. And she went out to get my favorite brand of ice cream (Ben & Jerry’s vanilla ice cream) as well as a bottle of Hershey’s caramel syrup, which are currently becoming a bottle of soup on my little night table.
But, I still miss Gigi. She hasn’t come back from her aunt’s place yet, which makes me wonder if she’ll ever come back. And, I admit that mom might have a good point, in having Gigi still stay at her aunt place. Considering the fact that I’m still sick, she could have easily gotten sick, and I don’t think my mom even has the money to make her better as well as me. But, I still miss her…
I’m just going to hope that maybe she’ll come back before I even watch or finish this Pitch Perfect DVD, though that’s highly doubtful.

Is it possible to get even more sick in the next twenty-four hours, because if so, I’m one very lucky little girl. I don’t have to do any more chores, but I do have to stay in bed all day (something that I don’t particularly enjoy doing, ever). But it doesn’t help that Jasper is forcing me to drink chicken soup every two or three hours. I get that I’m sick but that doesn’t mean I’m hungry!
Thankfully, he doesn’t notice it whenever I dump the rest of the soup outside my bedroom window. I just hope that the downstairs neighbors don’t mind much that I’m giving their plants something that isn’t exactly water.
Well, here he comes again, probably with more chicken soup. I would say help me, but I’m not sure if help is even needed right now.

You know how some days are absolutely amazing that it almost seems too good to be true. And then the next day comes and it’s the complete opposite, and it’s like your worst day of your life. Well, today seems like one of those days. Not exactly my best day, but it’s not one of my worst either. But today seems well, worse than yesterday.
How it can be like that? Well let’s just say that yesterday I wasn’t sick or have a pile of chores to do (most of it, is Jasper’s), and I didn’t have to deal with my cousin’s shit as he talks about his newest crush over and over again (I get it! She’s hot, plays sport, and does a bunch other crap that I don’t care about). Also, it doesn’t help that there seems to be a ball of worry digging into my insides when Gigi had to go to her aunt’s place for the day. But as mom had said, “It’s for her own good. Plus I don’t have the money to take care of two sick kids.”
Yeah, sure you don’t mom, sure you don’t. But why didn’t she give the pile of chores to Jasper and let me rest? Obviously, I’m just going to get even more sick if I don’t rest. Oh well, it might help me get better even sooner, as my mom probably thinks. Might as well get it over with or else risk the wrath of Rebecca Vuong (which is a lot scarier than a zombie apocalypse, in my opinion).
And let’s hope that I don’t die between today and tomorrow, shall we?
P.S. I think I shall try to do a song of the day. It will be fun. :)
For today it will be, Little Bribes by Death Cab Cutie.
